What Does God Say About You

We tend to have thoughts that contradict the WORD of God. Which means those thoughts are not from us or God. So therefore who could they belong to? The enemy! God has given you the blueprint of who you are. Where? In the WORD (Bible). Satan tried to attempt Jesus with several things and Jesus told him “It is written” and gave him SCRIPTURE (Matthew 4:1-11). So therefore we see that the bible is the antidote to these different infectious thoughts. As soon as we get a thought we need to shut it down with the sword (The bible)(Ephesians 6:11-18) This SCRIPTURE teaches us the importance of equipping ourselves with the Armour of God to withstand the enemy.

Thoughts come to try to distract you from the focus of God. The enemy will sometimes place a distraction in your path to shift your focus to that issue.

These are some thoughts that we tend to have.

“I have no friends”

“I feel alone”

“I’m broke”

“I feel as if I do not love myself”

“I feel as if my mind is going into chaos”

“I feel like giving up”

“I feel ugly”

“I feel depressed”

“I am so angry”

It is vital that as soon as these trespassing thoughts try to enter your mind that you must cast and shut them down with SCRIPTURE.

It is important for us to know the WORD, not only know the WORD, but constantly study it (2 Timothy 2:15).The reason why is because if you have a thought from the enemy you can use SCRIPTURE to cancel it. Remember that you have authority over unclean spirits and sickness (Matthew 10:1). Jesus died on the cross not only to save you, but for you to have the same power as Him(John 10:10)!!!
